Shovelnose injury

My lima got really skittish yesterday, cant remember if its from my net or dropping food in, and he swam into the glass. He now has a small cut on his head. Im not to worried about it, its small and its not bleeding or anything but to stop an infection from occuring, should I use salt? And what else can I do?

your lucky mine totally broke his nose now i think he is loosing weight haven't seen him eat for a week tried feeders, meal worms, salmon still nothing even though his nose is healed

you could try stress guard made by seachem

I'd use a little bit of salt. As well make sure that the water is clean and that he is eating.
