Show me Your best DIY hob overflow design

I have a continuous drip and an overflow that I designed with PVC and plastic tubing. The overflow isn't reliable enough for me to leave the drip on all of the time (read "when I leave the house"). Either the siphon will break or sediment will block the line and the tank will eventually over fill. I'll post a picture of my design tonight. -Thanks

I have a built in but but for that why not use a strainer and if you're worried about it stopping why not run dual over flows just in case. Easiest solution is make a over flow box like this
