was he in a accident or is that a genetic defect?
 
yea its called labyrinth fish,
i have a ton ill post some pics of my new ctenopomas tomorrow,
labyrinth fish r my faves....
especially ctenopomas they can live out of water for 2 days nand have been known to climb trees
 
Betty looks so egged up! She's going to pop if she doesn't spawn soon. :)

I don't know if Sinker was injured or born this way, but with the effectiveness of his compensatory strategies, I'd suspect he's been this way for quite some time. He was found at my LFS in this condition.
