Hi everyone! This is my first time to this part of the forum (I'm usually in the SA/CA Cichlid forum) and I thought I'd make a little thread to get to know you and your hybrids. Please could you post your favourite hybrids and tell me about them?
My favourite hybrid (and only hybrid at the moment) is my JD x Texas called Nemo. I have had him from the 'beginning'. I had a beautiful male JD and a lovely Texas (which I thought was a male until she laid eggs!) they produced hundreds of fry, but unfortunately were all eaten... Well, that what I thought! A month later I took all the bogwood out of the tank to give it a good gravel vac, and there he was! He had survived on his own under a piece of wood! Probably only coming out at night to feed on scraps. He is a real survivor and turned out to be a beautiful hybrid with lots of personality!
