This is what my friend Rod's 10" Midas did to me after I reached in the tank to collect a piece of tubing that had fallen in.

It was entirely my fault, I was in his space!

Lets see yours!!

Nice I have a tiny but 14 year old scar from my old Hoplias malabaricus. When I was a kid I worked for a huge fishstore called Aquarium Imports. We had a 225 w/ a 12in midas, jd, oscar and a 3 ft arrowana. I was playing w/ the midas showing a customer and his girlfriend. The midas was raising slighty out the water trying to bite me and all of a sudden the arrowanna jumped up and bit the crap out of me, blood all over the front of the store. You should have seen his girlfriends face, LOL

I have war wounds but not from the fish themselves. its from the tank lids from me trying to avoid bites and pulling my arm out. although recently i got a gross blood blister while trying to break off the back of a new hood. .if my husband had war wounds theyde be more like war amputation with his morays. lol

I get a kick out of my Africans when they go for my hands, they are all so small, my severum is probably the worst cichlid for biting I have he can take a piece out of an ice cube, he pulverizes full size frozen shrimp as I hold onto one end. .

I do remember my Gymnothorax tile, he grabbed me once... turns out they are mildly venomous the tiniest wound hurt like a bee sting.

My girlfriend told me my dorado bit her this morning. I worked late and she got up early to acclimate the fish we ordered from The Wet Spot and she fed my beast tank krill and my 12in dorado nipped her tiny little fingers, LOL.

I to have been bit by my aro and bled. I was finishing a water change and he came right up out of the water and bit my finger. Nice triangular bite marks on top of and bottom of finger. Wife kept screaming to go to the ER, hehe. But, one of the worst offenders was a clown fish in my reef tank. That little bugger would not tolerate a hand in the tank and would always make you bleed.

I don't have any freshwater wounds, but from my reef tank I've had my hands swell up any time I touched my anemones. If I was fragging or moving Zoas around to much my hands would swell and itch.
