Post up your Driftwooded tanks!
In my pic, I have a big malaysian driftwood stump.
I will be taking it out as I am changing my 55g completely. I will need the swim space, and frankly removing fish is a nightmare. Taking that thing in and out is worse, it's a tight fit and about 25-30 pounds - I have to take it off sideways.
Anyhow, I need to get a sense of what others are doing with designs. I am thinking of doing a couple pieces of Manzanita and give the tank a flowing look by setting them horizontally. I am also a stickler about hiding equipment, so I still need to hide my huge heater and filter intake.
I hate to do it because I planned this tank carefully 4? years ago and that wood really puts it together. I need to one up myself.
Thanks!
Nick
PS - my tank is attached
