What’s up guys!
Just wanted to show off my gulper catfish, Chubby. He currently lives by himself in a 55 that he has all to himself. A Rena xp3 –rated for 175 gallons- and a sponge filter rated for 30 gallons filter the tank and I do 50% water changes every other week. He's about 4"-5" and as for future plans, I eventually want to have him in a tank a little wider so I can add another gulper or two but as far as I can see, he's as happy as ever. He's surprisingly active and is always zipping around the tank excitedly waiting for food. I feed him tilapia filet and krill 3 times a week and I've had him for about 2-3 months and I got him was he was about 3". I have to say, I’m pretty surprised how slow his growth is for a catfish that eats so much. Now here are some pics:
