Kinda new to the whole fish thing only have had a tank for a few months, after many trial and errors I am finally becoming proud of my tank. Figured I would share some of the new fish I got last night plus some old ones.

Its a 55 planted with a Nicaraguense, Jack Dempsey, Bolivian Ram(new), clown loach, 2 iridescent sharks, a gar(new), and a couple ottocats. I know they are not monsters, but I greatly enjoy the tank, and can't wait to do more work to it. Hope you enjoy viewing!:headbang2

Nice fish and tank. I hope you plan on getting a bigger tank though, the shards and that gar get huge!

They may not be monster's now, but they sure will be. That gar will be fine for a couple months in there, but then it will eat the rams. Then the gar will eat whatever else it can fit into its mouth. The ID sharks will get quite large too.

But, all in all, pretty sweet tank, with a really cool stock list. Just be ready to upgrade that gar to something like a 75 or 90g within 4 months.

Thanks, i knew that the sharks would get big, but to my understanding they grow very very slow. The gar I didn't really know, but was planning on moving to a 75 within the next few months. I will keep an eye on him to make sure he doesn't eat anyone else in the tank and incase he get too big. Finally this little guy came out of hiding and I caught him!

Yeah, that clown will get pretty big too, about 12" i heard.

Thats what everyone says but it sure does take long for them to get that big. The biggest I have sceen was 8 inches and had no colour to it :( I heard they live for like 25 years or something, another long term pet. But they don't like to be alone, loaches, like this clown loach must be kept in large schools, I don't know why he only has one.

I had a ick problem a while back, lost a couple loaches to that. Along with a few other fish. :(
