I am turning my my 45 long into an oddball community. So far I'm thinking I'll put dragonfish, rapheals, geos, aspistos, and maybes are peakock gugeans, glass knives , glass cats, and gold killies. I thoought I'd look through the mfk Geos, to find the ones I want. Also, COuld anyone find a list of the total know species of geophageus

sounds like a lot for a 45.

This is my geophagus brasilinesis(sp?). She is about 7" long and a beast. Very calm fish and not aggressive at all. I have had her in with rainbows, bichirs, killifish, guppies, and she never even went after one. But then again she has been in with pikes and a very big severum. Also I think that the females stay about that size. I have had mine for a year and a half and she is maxed out im pretty sure.

Nice fish everyone.

Slash- does your steindachneri swim around puckering his mouth (almost like a threat display) for no reason?

And paradise Thats one bad mofo.

I need to find some of my pics.

Here we go, a pic of juropari left and altifrons(?) right. The pic got distorted when I uploaded it so they probally look real short. I need to get a pic of my brasiliensis soon, starting to look real nice.
