Fish that seem like a good idea at the time of purchase and end costing more then they are worth. Cheap fish that kill expensive fish, fish that go psycho out of nowhere and murder everything they can, fin nippers, fish that pick fights with anything including u, etc......Let's see those nasty fish !!!

Heres mine its a fire mouth i bought for 5 bux. I bought it cuz it had good color. It will fight anything i put in my tank. It used to try and beat up my datnoid incessantly. it nips and harasses anything it's housed with. I thought it was just gonna have an average cichlid personality. I was wrong. It is surprisingly one of the most aggresive fish I have ever had, and i have kept various viejas, oscars, grammode, JD, GT, pike cichlids, texas cichlids, salvinis, and many others.....

here is my GT, he was fine at first, then hit sexual maturity. now all he wants to do is breed. when the female resists, he eats her fins. I have seperated them for now and hope that her fins grow back (sorry no pics of her at the moment). He also goes nuts if I am late with his food.

I agree, oscars can be a pain in the arse....but WOW the colors on yours are amazing! Have you tried putting other oscars in there with him/her? I've found that if they have other oscar tank mates they tend to ignore other species.

this is francwa, he is a severum...he is supposed to be a mild manored cichlid, he will attack the glass and try to bite you even if you just look @ his tank to long. i tried to keep a pleco in his tank he killed it...figure cories wouldnt bother him he ripped there heads off...i tried to give him a female Sev to breed with since he is so pretty but he had her smacking the lids trying to exit the water within 2 minutes and had almost ripped every bit of fin off of her she could barely swim.

i have had Francewa for about 5 yrs or so.

this is my friend Ash's fish who after nipping on all of her rays tails he was brought to my house,figured he couldnt really bother a tank of big severums poly's and a 18" gar wrong!!!!

he then tore alot of the fish's fins up and tried to take out my gars eyes, he ripped the gars fins up something awful..he has since died...i guess karmas a bi...
