6 months ago! Much bigger now. I'll try and get a better pic of it if it ever comes out in daylight!
This is the Newest addition to My Bichir Collection.
He was about 2 1/2" when this was taken.
Here he is now about 4 1/2".
Here is My first Ornate that I had back in 2001. He was a Beast at 10", I fed him Gold Fish Feeders and Crawfish.

every time i take pics of my bichirs their eyes always reflect the flash. if i take off the flash, the pics look like crap. in all of the pics on this thread, outside of mine, their eyes are not reflecting the flash...what am i doing wrong?
I don't use a flash with mine if I can help it. I will sometimes pull in an extra tank light to brighten up their enviroment. Good Luck. 
The answer is obvious. You have possessed bichirs.
Or, do as TOMCAT suggested. That's always worked for me.
