Bay AREA!
I have been in this hobby for a while now and this is my first diving into the salt water world. I still have much to learn, so please feel free to comment/insult my tank.

*Note: I adopted all these fish and still trying to find them a good home. I know the tank might be a little overcrowded since clowns can be very territorial. But anyway, I love these fish just like my own kids (don't have any at the moment, but you know what I mean).

It looks like a great start. Think about stacking your rock for a little better flow through and away from the glass. I use a tile saw, concrete bit, zip ties, gel superglue and epoxy. Have at it! (put a tarp down first - lesson learned here)

You know you can stash that heater in your sump and or in the overflow if it won't fit in the sump right? Welcome to the wonderful world of sumpiness.

A thousand little projects await, enjoy every one.

I was thinking about leaving the heater in the sump, but I didn't want all that moisture soaking into the stand. I will leave it in the overflow though, thanks!

Looks like a solid tank for a newbie, I must say. (This is a compliment, just realized that it may look like an insult. lol)

How long have you been running it?

I actually bought it off of Craigslist for $350 for the entire set up. The move was pretty much a pain in the butt though, because I had to basically transfer all the salt water over to my place. I was afraid of new "water" syndrome so I try to make it 80% original tank water and 20% new salt water that I just mixed for the first time. I spent about 6 hours + straight on Saturday taking it down and then putting it up right away. It has been running at my place for about two weeks now and everything seems great except for the mean clowns.

Ahhh I see. Good idea taking as much water as you could, even if it was a pain in the a. Fish will definitely be happier and healthier because of it.

How big is the tank?
