I got this guy 3 weeks ago from USA stingrays. This is the first ray I've ever kept. He's a hybrid! His father was a mini marble motoro and his mother a marble motoro. As soon as I saw his picture I knew I needed to have him! So far he's doing well in my newly constructed pond I built in my garage! I apologize for the picture quality but I'm not a great photographer :(

Welcome to the wonderful world of stingray addiction! Lol
Be sure to keep a close eye on the oscar. I've had troubles in the past with oscars picking at and biting young rays. Sometimes they are fine for weeks and then start relentlessly harassing the ray. A missing eye would be tragic. I do have a small oscar with adult rays right now and no problems, but big oscars with small rays has been a real issue for me in the past.

Congratulations and welcome to the addiction of Rays... you will soon have more...

I agree with what has been said about the Oscar as I have experienced the same with an Oscar that was always really placid
He was a fairly big boy .. about close to 20cm
First three or four weeks all was fine but then decided to go for the rays if they went close to his side of the tank
I suppose not all Oscars are the same but keep an eye none the less

All the best with your baby

Thanks! I'm hoping the oscar doesn't go nuts! I'm adding some dither fish soon so hopefully that helps. I also currently have an arowana in there with them. Planning on adding dither fish and some kelberi pbass soon.
