shrimp and filters

i gravel vac every saturday, and i always suck up some shrimp is there anyway to fix this.

also is there any fish "safe" crab lobster or cray fish?

you can put a net on the out put of the gravel vac. if you are not really gravel vacing and doing water changes like i do in my planted tanks you can put a net around the intake of the hose.
