Got bored and made a mini brine shrimp hatchery. I'd figure I'd better get started since the convicts laid some eggs 2 days ago. As a matter of fact the eggs (some) hatched already.
Used a spare piece of 2x4-6" piece, drilled the center with a forstner bit, and a 1/4" hole on the side of the block for the hose, drank a 1 liter bottle of water used it and cut the top off. Drilled a 1/4" hole into the cap attached it to the air line that I threaded thru the 2x4 block. "Silly" coned it, placed it into the center hole (snug fit) added some more silicone and stapled the airline hose (loosely). Hooked it to the air pump...and voila a mini shrimp hatchery. Beats buying one from a store/online for 10 bucks or so.
