Nope, I was wrong. The red was bugging me so I kept looking.

Caridina gracilirostris AKA mosquito shrimp, rhino shrimp, red-fronted shrimp, Rudolph shrimp and red-stripe shrimp.

Edit: Even that doesn't seem to fit completely though. Has the red rostrum, but yours has 2 Clear and 2 black antanae, and the body coloring of an Amano. Maybe a hybrid?

prolly not...since its wild caught...in the off chance its an endagered species...nah...

nope...it has stripes...what the heck are youu!!?/

Really, if it's a wild caught specimen from the Philippines it is entirely possible that the species may not exist within the aquarium trade. It may not even be categorized visibly on the internet. Several new shrimp species were catalogued in the Sulawesi expedition just a few years ago.

If you can catch some more of them, go for it (provided it's legal for you to do so). Do some study on them and keep a journal of your observations. Best care info can be provided by the water where you found them (Temp, PH, Hardness, etc). Offer them a varied diet (algae, plants, meat) and see what they go for.

Definately interesting though. :)

it seems to go for hermit crab food...and it also pestered my bearded worm goby to death...*sigh -__-
