Shrimp ID?

I bought this shrimp as an indo shrimp but obviously now I know it’s not an actual name as I cannot find any information about them. Shame shame I bought something I knew nothing about!!

I assume the indo name indicates they come from Indonesia? That’s my best guess.

As for the shrimp they are fairly large compared to the CRS I use to keep. They have clear bodies with little black spots along their sides and a brownish orange strip down their backs.

One pic without flash and one pic with flash so you can see the stripe and then a screen shot of the sold as name....

Any help would be appreciated!

These wild Caridina are notoriously hard to ID, Caridina typus is the standard name for all these..

The shop also sell amano shrimp.

I also thought the shop using the word typus was kind of a haha joke not serious lol

If it's more than 1.5 inches it's likely an Amano Shrimp. Although juveniles can be smaller of course.
