I have a fish bowl like this

It look like 1/4 of a gallon to 1/2 gallon. I was wondering if there are any shrimp I could put in there?

Good for nothing when it comes to any type of fish. You can't fit a filter, heater or light on that thing with out upgrading it. Use it as a gravel holder or something.

Yeah I know I got 2 from a friend who doesnt want them. But i was thinking i could put an oscar or jardini I really like them do you think they would do good in there?

I hope you are joking. As a Jardini needs at least a 300g tank that is 36W. The oscar needs at least a 75g so he can turn around.

Funny. Reminds me of a thread I saw made by a guy who had a juvie Arowana in one of those Critter Keeper things as perminant housing. It had about 30-100 pages of Raging MFK'ers. Turns out it was just a bad joke, he was cleaning his main tank and put it in there for the time being.

But, I don't know. It's hard to judge the size of the bowl from the picture. You may be able to put a cherry shrimp in there, but not telling how long it would live in such a small thing. Is it the size of one of those betta bowls you see all the pet stores have?

You could fill it with dirt when it gets warmer and catch some earthworms.

shrimp sure ... just some sand java moss and toss in a couple simple and easy
