Shrimp size

What size shrimp do you folks feed?

I feed mine 30-40 count and cut them into 1/2" chunks as they seem to eat more that way. Just curious what others are using and if smaller shrimp (100-120 count) can be found raw.

mine eat what ever size i buy, wether cocktail or king. if there to big i cut them up

always feed cooked prawn, my rays never seem to like raw.

Mine eat raw or cooked, big or small !! Just so long as it's fishy they eat it.

I feed whatever size shrimp is on sale, but if it isn't I usually buy 55 60 count. If they are to big they just bite them in half.

Buy whatever you want and make them into pieces that the rays can eat

i do the 60 count.. cheaper than the bigger ones. Too small and it would take me forever to prepare ( i take out the shell for some rays )

arent the pre cooked shrimp packed with preservatives? Wouldnt they be bad for your fish?

I feed mine raw shrimp that I get from the Asian market. I dont have a large ray so i have to cut it up for him. He sure does slurp down huge night crawlers with out a problem though!

I buy 60 count bags of raw frozen white shrimp when they're on sale. I give them to the rays whole with the shell and tail on -- ripping them up seems to keep them busy for a while, and the chitin provides them with a little roughage
