Hey two things really.

1. I have a 5g panted with hornwort and java moss currently housing 7x ghosts, 3x amanos and 3x cherries and 1 oto. Can i house more? what do ya think. more plants? Shrimps good for harder water...

2. What kind of shrimp tanks do you guys have? size and stocklist.

sooo am i good to add more? suggestions on specimens?

Basic rule of thumb is 10 adult dwarf shrimp per gallon. You could add to your existing species. Neocardina (in this case your cherry shrimp) do well in hard water. If you add other color morphs they will interbreed which can cause their colors to revert to a wild type (clearish brownish red). I would add some more cherries and then wait for them to reproduce.

ok thanks jinksy, would green lace(i think thats a common name) lemons or tiger shrimp be good in there?

tigers would not interbreed, however they require softer water (pH in the low 7's). Lemon are most likely neocaridina, and green lace i am not sure which they are. If they are a caridina they could work but I would need the scientific name to tell you for certain.

caridina will not interbreed with the shrimpthat you already have, however they typically like softer water (6's-low 7's) so it depends on what your pH is. Typically the adults will live in harder water but have a much shorter life span and also survival rate of young is very low.

alright... what do you recommend for this

ph around the 7.2-6
temp 74-78F
hardness: (i dont know the exact scale or amount) but its pretty hard

You could try the dark greens (caridina species, though very slow growing) or the malaya shrimp (these are relatively new and still pretty pricey, but available) with those parameters. If your pH is really 7.2, tigers might work but if its above that it probably wouldn't work out that well.
