Hey Everyone,
Im wanting to get some more shrimp. The last ones i had were 1/2" or less and they were eaten by either my cons or rope fish, not sure which tho. I had them in a breeder net for a week or so and they didnt grow much at all but their growth rate exploded when i let them out into the tank...well atleast until they were eaten.
If i get larger ones, around a 1", do you think they will be alright? I have a heavily planted tank so they have places to hide.
Thanks

thanks guys, thats what i thought :(

I think hes pulling your leg. Shrimps arent predators at all. They MIGHT eat dead fish though.

I don't know...prawns in Hawaii eat fish...i seen them snatch fish and eat um'.

but if you shrimp like this, then you'll be good.

NOT MY PICTURE.

ew^^^^^ shrimp are ugly :yuck:
i buy them as feeders, they usually dont last longer than 24 hours.

i did use to have a little blue lobster he was pretty cool but he hid ALL THE TIME. i mean for weeks at a time. i thought he was dead because i didnt see him for a couple months. then one day there he was =)

as of today, its been about 5 months since i saw him. i changed the sand in my tank a few weeks ago and couldnt find him then so idk if he got ate by what or what:confused:
