Shrimp....

I have my Retics on market shrimpI have not purchased black worms in 2 weeksAll I had to do, is, mince it real fine...They gobble it as fast as they do the worms. They also eat the flakes that I feed to my tetras. I couldn't be happier. They would not eat the shrimp at a rough chop, only minced...

Nice work Spizz.... I am jealous I feed a mixture of red worms, krill and mysis shrimp these days. Try to find a big flatpack of hikari 'jumbo' mysis shrimp, they are just the right size for retics mouths. The new hybrids eat just about anything.

As of now our retic refuses to even eat chunks of red wigglers; I suppose tomorrow we could try cutting them up smaller.

I remember you telling me about the mysis, almost bought some the other day. Ummmm Next week should be a go! Monday or Tues works. I NEED to move these guys to the bigger tank...I just need a bit of sand

Go for it. I mince it frozen..It turns to snow almost..shell and all...I do however remove the tail, just in case. It feels good to see them get FULL on something other than Cali Blacks!
