I want to breed shrimp so I can get a little money to get a bigger tank, what shrimp do you recommend I start with, I am looking at this website www.theshrimpfarm.com
basically 1 more expensive will give you the most money per shrimp,, but the shrimp that sell more off and more freqently will be the best 1s.. so id say cherry red. but if yu have a small tank of 2 or 3 differant varities of shrimp youll have a bigger market. you can breed in a bucket aslong as they have moss in there to breed on too
The really high-priced types like blue-claw or Caribbean "Mountain-Monster" macrobrachium and bamboo & vampire (fan) shrimp require brackish conditions for early juvenile development.
Not difficult or particular rocket-science, but is a little more work with a set of series-plumbed tanks (troughs) and a big bubbler. Google M.rosenbergii farming or culture.
