Shrink wrap large aquarium for storage??

Purchased a 240g for dirt cheap but won’t be able to set it up for some time ... Had an idea of having it shrink wrapped (like how they do for boats) since it may be outside.

I was warned the wrap gets pretty tight but I think the 1/2 in glass can take it...

Has any one ever done this? Or have any input?

It should be more than strong enough but maybe a tarp and some bungee cords would be easier.

This the guy we got my buddys new 200 gallon from and my 150 was storing all his tanks up right along with 5 gallon bucket and 50 gallon barrels. I have never been bit by so many mesquitos.
