I currently have an FX5 and a little sump on my 4' 90 gallon tank. The sump is really just extra water, remote heater, and extra circulation. My 75 gallon has a Rena XP3.

I just picked up a 6' 125 gallon tank, with an XP3, to give my Oscar his lateral swimming room back. I have an over flow box that I can put on the rim of the 125 to keep the heater and extra circulation going. My question is...

Should I run both XP3's on the 125 and the FX5 on the 75 or one XP3 and the FX5 on the 125? I am leaning towards the dual XP3's for symmetry's sake and circulation.

Whats the stock going to be in the 125?

It's my 12-13" Oscar, big common pleco, 6" raphial catfish, 7 clown loaches. I was hoping to get some severums for Oscar to chase around. It was a toss up in the old 180 between my O and the gold severum I used to have as to who ran the tank.

Well basically it comes down to if u want more flow or not. The fx5 alone would be good enough for the 125. Really its your call. Either set up will work.
