I've read that bocourtis regularly beg for food, greet you when you walk in to feed them, and act like wet puppy dogs. Mine don't act like that at all. I have had 5 of them for two months. They have grown about a half an inch since I got them at 2 - 2.5 inches. I had a bunch of cover in the tank for a while but took it out because I thought it was making them shy. I have 6 loaches in there that swim all over the 75 gallon tank. They cower in a corner when I walk in the room and put on the fright coloration. I can feed them and they will come out and start eating and they will eat a lot. Should I add cover back in there or leave the tank bare?

David, be paitient! Cover will make them hide more, I had them in a bare tank and the stayed in the front all the time begging for food. Ken

Obviously they liked you better than me, which is disturbing. LOL:screwy:;)
They just act so skittish, but I'll keep the decor out for now. Thanks.
