shy dovii

Ive had my 12 inch dovii for around 4 or 6 months now,and it really irritates me with the fact every time i aproach the tank he hides near or behind the powerfilter,unless he knows hes getting food.Its confusing because if he dosent get harmed when getting food,shouldent he be smart enough to kno i mean no harm by now.

my male and female dovii are like that too ...

it seems like the meaner the fish - the more scared they are ...

that is weird for a male. mine would try to attack me at 3-4 inches.

really,ur lucky.and it does seem like the more agressive a fish is,the more shy they are.Althought i used to have a 10 inch reddevil,that dident fear man or beast.

the lil dovii i had really went nuts if a dog was in the room. haha
