Hi all, sorry for all these threads about my Giant Gourami, but I bought a GG about a week and a half ago, which pretty much always stayed up one end of the tank, between the heater and an internal filter. It would feed every day, but died last Saturday. I purchased another one this week, which looked in much better condition than the one that died, but the new GG also stays between the heater and the filter, and won't feed. Do you think that there might not be enough cover / decor in the tank for him? There is a piece of driftwood with a large Anubias growing on it, some small rocks, but thats about it, so the tank is pretty bare. Whenever someone walks past the tank, the GG will dart away and try to hide. Will adding some schooling fish like Silver Dollars help? What would be a good number? Cheers.
