Shy new L114

I recently purchased a L114 and the little guy is super shy. Are these guys hide all the time types or will he loosen up with time?

Yeah, I know... pictures or else it did not happen, lol

They tend to be quite shy til the lights are off

Very nice pick up. ...they are very shy when young, will hide most of the time. after 5-6" or so they will come out more. From my experience, plecos are less shy when with other plecos so keep a few if you can.

Lots of red on the tail, with small L114 you only get glimpse on them and then back to their hideout they go. My L114s were about 5" before they started to show them self more.

From my experience, plecos are less shy when with other plecos so keep a few if you can.

I have been looking, not much else catching my eye. This guy is just a bit little (2.5") to go with my rhino pleco (5") in my 210g. Plus I have a new red bay snook in there who might try to snack on him.
