hi hope all are well

2 days ago i brought a juvenile oscar and juvenile green terror. the oscar is about 3/4 of the size of the GT. the GT has settled in fine and is exploring his new home. however the oscar is doing the opposite, hiding behind a peice of bogwood and not really eating at all, not that i can see and what i can see is very small amounts. his colour is also fading. the GT is not being agressive to him and they seem to leave each other alone most of the time.

is there any way to make him come out more and eat? is he still settling in?
thanks
Matt

well when my dad got his juvie oscar he hid away for about 4 days and the n started to liven up,,,,,,,,, i think your oscar is sulking.

Sounds like he's a little stressed, probably just needs some time to get used to its new home. Oscars can sometimes sulk and hide away but it won't be long before he has the munchies lol.

He'll come around. He just needs time to get comfortable in his new home.

normal

thanks for the replys

sorry have been away for a few days and when i came back i had a happier oscar he seems to have settled in more but is still a bit skittish.

thanks for the replys guys
Matt
