I think im being paranoid cuase I bought to pictus and one of them is always hiding (more than my pleco) and the other one is always swimming up and down in th currents and eating should I be worried? what worries me more is that the gills of the hiding one are moving alot faster than the active one. tanks

How long have they been in the tank? Sounds like they are new additions and the one is just a bit stressed right now. I would try keeping the lights off for a bit and give it time to adjust.
yup I hid for a while to watch them when im not around and one does pic on the other one but they are both fine now they are settling. they are wayyy over stocked right now but ill get a 75 gal for them in the next week or so. like 10 gal with two raphy cats a pleco and the 2 pictus. amazingly the tank looks empty because I put alot of drift wood in there and they all hide. and ont worry about the bioload I clean daily with a turkey baster and the tank is turned over 20 times the hour.
