Its perfect example of genetic mutation... basically Arowana Gene pull is limited.. and these are the deformities...

I'd say under normal circumstances.. these fish would die.. but in captive..... i'm sure they are well fed.... So probably their longevity is quite long...

I think people sell them because its ODD and looks cool..

I think any fish can survive shipping if bagged properly... but with fish like these.. (asian arowana) Its done via airport airport shipping.....

They do it alot in Cananda.
 
i Dont think theyre selling them because at $69,047.62 theyre just gonna keep them until an MFker wins the lot.
