how do you tell apart a siamese tiger fish from the rest of the dats? seen some in the lfs and wondered if they were indo instead?

Or go into media lounge, use search, type in ST or widebar, then see the pics. Then type in IT or indo , then see the pics and compare.

That lfs doesn't know jack about tigerfish. Don't believe it's ST (pulcher) . I can tell you now it's an Indonesian tiger of thinbar, even without seeing pictures.
