Gday all, i recently got myself a pignose turtle bout 10cm shell size and was wondering if it would be ok with a siamese tiger bout 12cm long and 5cm high? Any thoughts?

i had a 10inch disk fly river turtle / pig nose turtle and it killed 4 x siamese tigers for fun

turtles and fish are not really a good mix

it may for for some time PNT start life looking nice and cute then they can turn into killing animals

Richard is right. I have a 25 cm one with a Jar and a PonPon and am always on the lookout....

I used to keep my PNT with my fishes, until I saw the turtle getting more aggressive. PNTs get aggressive as they get older and bigger. My friend's PNT just killed his RTG, and eaten his Indonesian Tiger left eye...

Of course you could get lucky and get good results with the comm, but what if you are not that lucky...

^ AGREED ^

We MFK's need to genetically engineer a turtle that is fully aquatic, and will not attack fishes, and produces relatively low bio-load.

But... I'm not a bio-chemist
:D
