Siamese twins born to cattle also
By Sabu Neyyassery, NewKerala.Com Correspondent, Thodupuzha, March 23: At Mattathippara near Thodupuzha Siamese type calves were born to a cow owned by Mammachan, Kacharayil.
The calves were taken out through surgery which lasted 4 hours. The stomachs of the calves were united together and while taken out both calves were dead.
As there occurred difficulty in delivery the owner of the Cow has informed the matter to the District Vettinery Hospital, Thodupuzha. The medical team led by Dr. G. Mohandas and Dr.Jaison George have taken out the calves though surgery lasting 4 hours.
Dr.Mohandas told that he has seen such an incident for the first time in his life. A lot of people came to see the Siamese cattle twins.
