I recently got two young Oscars...one albino, one not. The Albino has been acting sick for about 2-3 days now. At first I thought it was being bullied, but it's fins haven't been nipped and nobody is messing with her.

She(we call it a she) has been sitting in a corner/hiding in the middle under things...recently started gasping...mostly just sits listlessly.

I moved her into my 10 gallon tank...to see if she would stop acting like that, maybe she was stressed in the tank or they were bullying her when I wasn't watching.

Only 10 gallon tank I have is currently being used by a little one inch(or less) Jaguar cichlid.
...But I threw in a tablet of stuff for parasites to see if it would help.

I'm not too concerned about the Jaguar cichlid, he is so small she could easily eat him...(hope she doesn't).

Any ideas what is wrong with her? I will post pictures...

Since she has been acting sick her fins have darkened around the tips...? I don't know if this is related to her being sick or not...
Anything I can give her to help her?
Tanks have all been cleaned, and kept up well. Ammonia levels aren't high.

Have you been feeding it feeder fish? I think I see rosey red minnows. They can caryy allllll kinds of things if you dont have a feeder tank to clean them up.

I don't think she's sick at all, she's most likely just freaked out. My albino oscar did the same thing. I thought he was going to die from stress, or I might not have acclimated him long enough. He was small too, and was in the same tank as a bigger JD and another tiger oscar. To me, it seems like oscars are really emotional fish. Haha every time I do a water change they will hide, become lethargic, and gasp. But within an hour they are back to normal. It took my albino a couple days to get used to his surroundings and was completely fine
