I got my first Arowana about a month ago. It had just used up it's yoke sack a few days before I purchased him. For three weeks he seemed good. I kept him I'm a ten gallon tank until he got a little bigger and was feeding him crickets and freezer dried blood worms. In the time I had him he went from three inches to five. On the forth week I noticed his eyes a little fuzz and then the next day he had a bit more fuzz on head. I tested the water right away. The water seemed good save for aminos being pp .25. I did half a water change and added api fungul cure. The next day the fungus seemed to have cleared but he still had wounds where the fungus had been. He started having spasms and going limp. I did another water change but a few hours later he was dead. Needless to say I'm beyond disappointed I couldn't care for such a beautiful fish. I have been keeping fish for two years and new to this forum. Anyone with any thoughts on what I could have done differently to save him?

Your tank isn’t cycled and it likely stressed the fish. Got a infection from the stress, decreased immunity and died.
