Sick Catfish

I have a couple of catfish in one of my tanks. They were all healthy. Then one died. Then the other. Now a third seems to be exhibiting the same symptoms. It is turning lighter in color, it twitches occasionally, and is not eating. The others that died started swimming upside down (not floating), and then died rigidly. What can it be, and how can I treat it before any more die?

just did a water change. Ammonia, etc 0, temp 82, pH 6.8

they've been eating shrimp for a while. Maybe it was spoiled

Man i just lost 7 to the same type deal..... I dont think it was the shrimp? I saved one out of eight?

it's weird. they are dropping one by one. Maybe parasites? This is something to seriously look into: gulper mortality

Hmmm, I got no expirience personally, but some say that gulpers can foul the water somehow. Not sure where that came from though. Did you treat the tank with anything, or do anything different in your tank maintenance? When was the last feed?
