I HAVE 6 DISCUS 2 FUJI REDS AND 4 TURQUOISE CHECKERBOARDS... I USED PRAZI-PRO ON THEM WHEN I FIRST GOT THEM AS A PRECAUTIONARY (ABOUT 7 WEEKS AGO)... THEY WERE DOIN GOOD TILL LAST WEEK.. 3 OF THE TURQUOISE ARE HUDDLED IN THE BACK CORNER OF THE TANK, WITH LOSS OF COLOR AND NOT EATING.. I NOTICED WHAT APPEARED AS A WORM( APPROX. 2 INCHES LONG ROUND AND WHITE IN COLOR) WHAT SHOULD I DO TO TREAT THEM PRAZI PRO AGAIN????

I would treat all 6 with Metro every other day for at least a week. (note: How about not capping every letter of every word. On a forum, it makes you appear to be an a$zhole. Thanks!)

To be of further help we need your water parameters. I'd suggest a temp of 82-86. pH 6.0-6.5 and weekly if not twice a week water changes of at least 25-35%.

I agree, what are the parameters? Before using meds first know the problem. Metro is a good general med, but needs to be used very differently than listed instructions would say on the bottle. Gill function is a common problem. Are both gills working? Do the fish have white poo? How old are the fish?

My metro dosing is: 500mg per 10 gallons, no lights, temp at 92, 50% waterchange and redose twice a day, done for 5 days, evaluate, if needed one more rotation of five day treatment after 3 day rest of med and then usually all is well. If all is not well you may have to medicate the food or use another med.
