Sick Figure 8 Puffer!

i got a sick Puffer and im not sure what is wrong with him, i have him in a half mix salt tank. but he seems to have some weired stuff going on with his eye. ive treated hi9m for ick, but the eye is still a bit screwy! its like a thick film over his eye and it seems he can barley see! please help!!

if it looks like a clear kinda white film, then its probably clout eye.... im not too sure with brackish water but i know that in order to cure it you have to do lots of water changes... and add salt (which is already in your water:confused) this is a hard one... if the water changes dont work give them one of the following antibiotics..tri-sulfa, kentamycin, tetracycline

Make sure you don't overfeed him.. If you changed the salinity in your tank to brackish, it will have to re-cycle.. Over-feeding can cause an ammonia spike which could lead to an eye fungus.. Less feedings + More small frequent water changes would help this guy alot, as well as the meds.

Cloudy eyes are most commonly attributable to poor water quality. ...Clear water does not necessarily mean good, healthy water.
