Sick fire eel

my fire eel has this white patch on both side of its gills skin
it was feeding fine other day but it vomited and stopped feeding. It stays sideways on bottom of tank .
how to cure him he looks real sick

Check ur water parameters. Would make sure ur heaters are all covered up. Clean water and give it more than a few days to see if the areas around the gill clear up.

Check ur water quality. If ur not able to then I’d suggest do a big water change (as much as u can) now. Use a dechlorinator if able.
