So I got home from work today and my flowerhorn is wigging out, darting, then gasping for air, colour had faded to showing his stress bars
Water tests came up fine and even did a water change
Added Epsom salts and turned the lights off, cleaned the filter, what else should I do?

He hasn't eaten since yesterday afternoon
I just found him at the bottom of the tank dead
And I just bought a new female for him this morning after he killed his first one and ate all the eggs she laid, not a good month for my fish room

wish I saw this sooner.

Looking at the still waste on the bottom l think your fish did not have enough oxygen. You need more water current or a stronger filter with lots of media. Next time

Read my initial post
I did water tests when I seen how he was and the tests came up clear of ammonia and nitrites, this is a 200L tank and my canister filter is 1000Lph with 2 baskets of media, and a very large sponge filter inside, so it's not from bad water quality
