i have a sick fish( he looks like a tinfoil but with a striped tail)
he is the only one in the fish tank that got sick
he has a little bit of cloudy eyes and starting to get some kind of white bubbles like grains of salt all over his body
i took him out and put him in a 10g tank and added salt
what else can i do?
any suggestions please

Guessing on the tinfoil barb look and striped tail, its most likely a flagtail. Just the tail is striped instead of red. I have seen flagtail with these tails. Try to google it.

I don't know what grains of salt means? Google ick. Is it that?

What I would do now is as you said. Put him in a different tank, put salt in there.

Now, heres what you should do add melafix by API (I think that stands for Aquarium Pharmaceuticals Inc.) or try to find something similar by Jungle. The thing is that melafix works for cloudy eyes, tail or fin rot, open body sores and some other stuff. Next, raise the temperature to over 80 degrees.

WAIT for other people to post their opinions though (if they will).

ok thanks
yes is a flag tail, i forgot the name, thanks
i went to petco and bought a medecine thats for fungus and other stuff
hopefully he will get better, i bought him a month ago for $25, he looked a little sick then but i thought that he was going to get better
oh well

if it is ick u need to treat with another med and add salt and water changes every day

You should be able to take care of ich without using meds. Use a heaping tablespoon of salt in your iso tank and boost the temp to around 85 or 86 deg. F. Ich can barely survive at high temps. (Assuming it is ich)

the fish died this morning
i think the med that i bought killed him because he was swimmin fine and acting ok
yesterday
oh well
thanks guys any way
im looking at my 220 gallong tank and i see a couple of fish starting to get the little white bubbles, i ck my amonia and is 0
should i treat the whole tank ($$$) or should i do a complete water change?

the thing is i have a 75g tank and before i upgraded to this 220g non of my fish got sick.
what should i do? what should i look for? i dont want my other fish to die

here is a pick of my 220g and a pic of my 75g

all my fish were in the 75g and they never got sick
now that i have this tank they are all getting sick
i have 2 pieces of drift wood that im trying to sink, maybe is the drift wood that are creating the "bacteria"fungus". the drift wood on the right is kind of---?---heary (like hair, you can rip strands with your hand.
what do you guys think?
