sick fish, need help

does anyone know what this is? He first got the wounds after a fight with a wolf. After a week he was healing great until this happened....any thoughts? (sorry about the pics, had to use phone)

Are those bite marks or are they white fuzzy growths?

they started as bite marks then progressed into white fuzzy growths, i heard that gars were hard to treat...any suggestions?

So those growths are in the exact places where your fish got bit?

Hummmmm... I would wait for Solomon to give his thoughts, but for now you
absolutely can't go wrong with 50% water change, add salt and bump up the temp a little bit.

NO MEDS!!!! put him in his own tank. bump temp and add salt. do regular water changes. should be fine but no meds. tend to do more harm then good. gl

UPDATE:
I have bump the temp to 78, added salt, and have done water changes daily. The last couple days he hasn't really ate that well (which is odd because he use to beg me for food constantly), also the fish will only hang out at the top of the tank gulping for air more than he use to...
