I posted a few days ago because I thought my guppies developed a case of ich. I've been treating the tank for a few days now with Rid Ich, adding salt in the water, and raising the temperature. It seemed like they were improving, but now things are getting worse. I've lost two guppies in the past two days! I've noticed that some of them are getting white film on the ends of all their fins. Whats the problem?? Is this ich or something else??

They have a bacterial infection. Turn off your heater for now and treat the tank for the bacteria and ich at the same time. If you didn't do a water change before the ich treatment, do it now. Clean the tank and gravel too. The idea is to reduce the population of pathogenetic bacteria in the tank before you start the treatment.
