I hope sone one can help me. My cyrtocara moorii (dolphin) lookes like it has dry skin and seems to be loosing weight. Its pectoral fins have redish spots on them. it dosnt seem to bother her and she eats fine but im worried its going to spread. I know its not ick but i cant figure out wht else it could be. I will try to get pics if any one would like them

It's tough to tell what's going on in that pic. Based on your description it could be a variety of things, including parasitic or bacterial infection. If you can set up a quarantine tank to monitor the fish that would be ideal. Otherwise, keep an eye on the fish to make sure it's acting normally and eating normally. You can try feeding some anti-parasitic (look for food with metronidazole and praziquantel) and/or anti-bacterial food. Alternatively, you can try using food that contains garlic, such as New Life Spectrum Thera A.
