Sick Gourami - Is this a parasite?

Hello everyone.

Just wondering if anyone knows what this could be? I kept Gourami's for a while now & this is the first time I have seen this. None of the other fish in the tank have this, so not sure if this is a parasite or some kind of tumour?

Would love to hear from others on this, I will put him to sleep if this is something that can't be cured with the usual remedies.

The fish is in a 120ltr tank with 3 sword tails, half a dozen guppy/endler guppy mixes and 1 Molly. Last water change on week ago.

Full water change today but until I have an idea what this is I can't treat it. Does anyone have a idea what this could be? Fish is eating & swimming around ok, but as this is now bigger & up by its head I am not sure how long it will last without treatment.

Looks like a bacterial infection.

Thank you Joe. I will put some antibiotics in the tank & hope for the best.
