i have removed my red/blue dwarf gourami from my main tank as it was lying on its side at the bottom of the tank flapping. now its in a much smaller tank in isolation because i have no idea whats wrong with it. it seems to have perked up a bit, and is now upright but still not doing much. i only got it on tuesday, and its seems to list to the side for a bit every so often. what do i do?

update on this- the gourami died this evening. it was perfectly happy in the small isolation tank, had righted itself, but managed to pass away whilst staying upright. still no idea what was wrong with him. possibly bad batch, although the other one that i got with him from the same tank seems perfectly fine.

No idea. I have lost 5 golden gourami's 3 in a similar way. Think they were from the same batch though.

the other one has died this evening. he looked like his tail had been chewed, start swimming in circle and then flopped to the bottom of the tank. i dont think his tail has been nipped though, i think he ripped it on something. i only bought them on tuesday, and my other fish all seem fine so i reckon it was a bad batch.
