Hi All,

My Jardini has recently become ill and has not been eating for the past 2 weeks going on 3. I've been keeping up the water quality and have done 15% water changes weekly for the past 2 years (he's about 2 years old). He's on a steady diet of Hikari arowana food, sometimes freeze dried krill, and once a month feeding of some talapia meat as a treat.
Can you help me diagnose him and propose any treatments?
Thank you,
Tamn3

Try pimple cream. He's reaching puberty lol..
Try increasing water change to 30% and twice a week.
If it me .. i would try and burst the bubble :S U dont know what going below there.
Could be pus.

try getting those stress coat thing.. and appetitze enchancement thing.. keep water warmer...

my red had those once.. it was due to bad water parameters.. i did a weekly 50% wc, added epsom salt and increased the temp a bit.. now no more "bubbles'.

What are your water parameters for Ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, ph ?
Water change procedures ?
Bio filtration type and capacity ?
How big is the tank ?

at that age, 3 weeks without food is not a problem.

Do as above said ( WC ) and let 's see whether there are improvements.
