Nooooo! Don't use Coppersafe. Jake, that stuff's dangerous enough to fish that you shouldn't be using it as a "preventative". Makes no sense.
Smartlove, how long have you had that Loach? We need to determine if it could be ich. If you've had him awhile, has there been any newcomers/plants or snails to the tank? *IF* it's ich we'll have you add salt at 1 TBS/5 g salt and crank the temperaature up to about 87 degrees. But we should determine 1st if it's ich or not. The white spots you describe sound. like it but it almost looks like he's got a fungas on him....? Are the other fish affected yet?
I don't think it's velvet because velvet kills so fast you wouldn't have had time to post about it.

no other fishes have not been affected and i have had him for like more than 4 months now. no other fishes have the problem only he has. and my other loaches are all fat and plum and are eating well. this one hasnt even grown a centimeter sincei got him. no i havnt done any treatment as yet as i was waiting for a response from you people. i dnt think they are white spots. what you see in the pic is how he looks. so what should i do. add salt and crank the temp?

Ich has to come from somewhere, it's got a lifecycle of less than a week. So if that fish has been in that tank for 4 months and you haven't added any other fish or plants or snails....then it can't be ich. Salt works by irritating their slime coat causing the fish to make even more slime coat. So that might actually not be a bad idea to add a small amount although I'm not sure if that should be your next move or not. If Lupin sees this he'll chime in, I'm sure. Have you tried LoachesOnline.com? If you do, be sure to tell them you haven't added any fish, etc in over 4 months so they know it's not ich. Hmmmm......I guess if it were my Loach and my tank....I'd add 1 tsp salt/5 g water. (I use 6 times that for ich treatment) since that's a small amount, and crank the heat up to 84 or so. I've seen Maracyn 1 & 2 recommended for fungas looking problems like that but I hesitate to recommend them because I've never used them. Lupin will surely see this and help us out.

Maybe it's skinny disease? Caused by internal parasites?
could be skinny disease coz the cl is really really thin. but i dont have any experience with the disease so i want the experts to tell me what to do

Loss of weight or "skinny disease" is also quite common in Clown loaches. Typical symptoms are loss of weight and behaviour known as "knifeback" even though the fish is acting and eating normally. This sickness is more difficult to treat, it comes from a parasite organism (spironucleus) in the intestines of the same type that is thought to cause the so called "discus disease". I have successfully removed this disease from newly imported fish by using Spirohexol from JBL in the form of tablets. I have taken one tablet and crushed it and dissolve it in as little water as possible. I have then used discus granules which have been soaked in the solution. It becomes like a thick porridge after a short time when the food has drawn in the liquid. I then feed this to the sick fishes, after a week it looks like the sickness is gone. For the best possible effect do not feed with any other food. Flagyl (Metronidazole) also helps fight against this sickness but at least here in Sweden it is on prescription and can be a little difficult to come by.
got it from this site

Omegablue's suggested treatment, Spirohexol seems worth a try. I've used levamisole hydrochloride for this case on some of my loaches but it was also extremely powerful that there is no telling if the fish will lose its appetite temporarily or not and that was a PITA with loaches already looking skinny as it is difficult to determine whether they were free of parasites yet or not. The water changes after a few days perked them up a bit and regained their appetite.
